Professor of International Relations Tanguy Baghdadi will present the structure of migrations in one of the regions most impacted by the phenomenon: Latin America. The countries that generate the largest number of refugees will be discussed, with emphasis on Haiti and Venezuela, in addition to the historical example of Colombia. By the end of this class, you will understand that a large part of the refugees scattered throughout the region do not move because of declared wars, but because of internal conflicts, poverty and political persecution.
