Through this VV action with the NGO Cisarte, we are going to hold a breakfast and a lecture on female empowerment for homeless women assisted by the institution. The volunteer will practice active listening by participating in the conversation wheel that will be taught by Psychologist and Specialist in Human Sexuality Michelle Sampaio. Volunteer activities also include help with meal logistics and space organization.

The NGO Cisarte has been operating in São Paulo since 2016, with the mission of helping homeless people, improving their quality of life. The NGO has already helped more than 29,000 people in situations of social vulnerability. Through legal, psychological, dental and training assistance, they work on humanized care with a focus on rescuing the identity and dignity of each person assisted.

São Paulo is the main financial and corporate center in South America. It is the most populous city in Brazil and also the most influential on the global stage. In contrast to this scenario, it is estimated that around 7 million people are hungry (severe food insecurity) and another 15 million do not have enough food (moderate insecurity).

With that in mind, we teamed up with the NGO CISARTE, which has been operating in São Paulo since 2016, with the mission of helping homeless people, improving their quality of life. The NGO has already helped more than 29,000 homeless people. Through legal, psychological, dental and training assistance, they provide humanized care with a focus on restoring the identity and dignity of each person. 

VV is guided in all its actions by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the global agenda adopted during the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development in September 2015. There are 17 goals and 169 goals to be achieved by 2030.

BEATRIZ MIRANDA 

VV Coordinator

Graduated in Publicity and Propaganda, she has been working in the advertising market in São Paulo for 9 years and is an entrepreneur in Artistic Marketing. He currently works as a Community Manager at VV, being responsible for managing the relationship with our ambassadors and influencers. She began her career in volunteer work when she was still small, at the age of 12, teaching computer science to seniors. On the field with VV, he has already played in 4 actions.

MICHELLE SAMPAIO

Psychologist graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas. Specialist in Human Sexuality from the Faculty of Medicine of USP, member of ISSM (International Society for Sexual Medicine) and Vice-Coordinator of the Department of Paraphilias of ABEMSS (Brazilian Association of Studies in Medicine and Sexual Health). focus on sexology and sexual therapy for adolescents, adults and couples, in the behavioral approach. Classes and courses taught in the area of Sexual Therapy and Health/Hospital Psychology. It also has papers presented at the latest congresses of the WAS (World Association for Sexual Health), SLAMS (Latin American Society of Sexual Medicine) and ESSM (European Society for Sexual Medicine).
