VV ATION SAÚDE PETROPOLIS - RJ

This action aims to promote basic health care to the 24 de Maio community, in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, together with the NGO Flor de Lótus, our partner in the region that will also serve as our accommodation during the action period.

  • WHAT WILL WE DO

In this VV Action, in partnership with the NGO Flor de Lótus, we will take medical students from Unifeso University to provide basic assistance to the population assisted by the NGO, such as: checking blood pressure, measuring glucose, calculating BMI and providing general instructions on preventive care, general health and hygiene.

The NGO Flor de Lótus has as main objective to help in the personal and professional development of the citizens assisted by it so that they can reach their financial autonomy. With this focus, the NGO encourages education, sports, reading and culture, through courses, workshops and conversation circles. The NGO was born after the tragedy of the rains in the city of Petrópolis to help the community of the 1o de Maio neighborhood that was extremely affected.
