VV Action Capão Redondo R$ 199.90

Through this VV action and the NGO "Juntos pelo Capão", we are going to promote an Easter event for part of the Capão Redondo community. Around 100 people will attend the lunch promoted by VV and the volunteers will help in the planning, organization and service of the event, as well as performing Easter-themed games for the enjoyment of the children in the community.

São Paulo is the main financial and corporate center in South America. It is the most populous city in Brazil and also the most influential on the global stage. In contrast to this scenario, it is estimated that around 7 million people are hungry (severe food insecurity) and another 15 million do not have enough food (moderate insecurity). The Capão Redondo district is located in the South Zone of São Paulo, close to the Guarapiranga dam and about 23 km from the city center. Within and along the boundaries of Capão Redondo, there are 83 favelas with approximately 29,000 households in total.

With that in mind, we teamed up with the NGO Juntos pelo Capão, which has been operating in the region since 2019, currently impacting around 300 families with the mission of structuring them and the community, making them autonomous, aware of their rights and capable of a dignified insertion within of society. There are currently 15 volunteers working together to make Capão Redondo a place of opportunity for its residents through education, culture, employability and assistance actions.

VV is guided in all its actions by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the global agenda adopted during the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development in September 2015. There are 17 goals and 169 goals to be achieved by 2030.

Graduated in Publicity and Propaganda, she has been working in the advertising market in São Paulo for 9 years and is an entrepreneur in Artistic Marketing. He currently works as a Community Manager at VV, being responsible for managing the relationship with our ambassadors and influencers. She started her career in volunteering when she was still small, at the age of 12, teaching computer science to seniors. On the field with VV, he has already played in 4 actions.
